with animation from the likes of "the lifelong friendship soceity" and an appearance of "julius the monkey" from paul frank, this kids show looks to be a winner, ok now i'll have kids if the shows are like this! yo gabba gabba :-)
lovely 3d as always, but i cant help feeling that the horizon bothers me as does some of the flickering shadows. 1st ave have a habit of doing lush work rendered with radiosity, but cutting corners on final render quality, i'm assuming due to the obscene amount of time it would take to render this stuff with high accuracy. shame, but some lovely work none the less.
well she does, but not in the usual way, this time it is for tronic studios, in aid of the adicolor campaign for adidas! go have a butchers, design wise, i'm not a big fan of it. but hey, i'm guessing most people will like it for alternative reasons :-)
a fab gallery of gocco prints to buy at the wurst gallery. i reeeally want a gocco for myself but since they stopped production of them last year they are skyrocketing in price. still, you can find some good deals on ebay! go search for gocco.
reminds me of my not so long departed youth, but these days these puppies would be hanging on my wall as art rather than grinding rails and benches :-) some great work, check it out. (links are in the titles by the way)
some rather cool clothing based on materials and the symbolism of disposable/recyclable objects. Makes me think the age of akira is coming around faster and faster!! now...if only someone would make kaneda's bike!! lol also worth seeing is the envelopes/ipod covers/camera cases.
two cool lo-fi vids for the sony bmg band "persephone's bees" The vid's aren't my usual taste when it comes to polish and production, but the way they fit with the feel of the band and the tunes makes it all ok! have a look and see what you think.
Another beautiful piece from the shoreditch boys! they just finished work on the opening sequence for "perfect dark zero" their usual super slick style with a touch of Maurice Binder, just to add to the whole "spy" feel.
guillermo del toro's new spanish language outing, the scary world of pan!! the trailer...well....teaser..doesn't give much away. But I'm still looking forward to it, i love Guillermo's style.
This the personal site of an acquaintance of mine, he's a frightfully talented chap, and i am a big fan of his work on scuzz. go and have a look at his work, there are a bevy of quicktimes.
